Introduction: By purchasing a ticket and attending the Airshow at Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent (organized by AMP Limited and Shenley Farms Limited, collectively "the Organisers"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These rules are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all attendees.
· Ticket Types: The Airshow offers multiple ticket categories, including General Admission, Mustang Lounge, Fighter Row, and By the Biplanes. Each ticket type provides entry to the event, with premium tiers (Mustang Lounge, Fighter Row, By the Biplanes) offering additional benefits (such as VIP viewing areas or hospitality). All ticket holders, regardless of type, are subject to these same Terms and Conditions.
· Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable: Once purchased, tickets (and any booking fees) are non-refundable and non-transferable to other persons or event dates. Tickets are valid only for the specific event date noted and cannot be exchanged or resold without the Organisers’ consent. In the event that the Organisers cancel the Airshow, tickets may be refunded or honored on a rescheduled date (at the Organisers’ discretion), as this is the only exception to the no-refund policy.
· Entry Conditions: Every person attending the show must have a valid ticket regardless of age (infant policies will be as stated by the Organisers). No re-entry is permitted – if you leave the show grounds, you will not be readmitted on the same ticket without a wristband issued on entry. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or eject attendees for violation of these terms or for safety/security reasons. No refunds will be given to anyone refused entry or removed from the event for cause. Please retain your ticket (or wristband if provided) at all times; you may be asked to present it upon request.
· Weather and Serviceability: All flying displays are subject to weather conditions and aircraft serviceability. For safety reasons, the flying schedule may change without notice. The published program and participating aircraft are not guaranteed; aircraft may be substituted or displays canceled at short notice due to factors like weather, technical issues, pilot availability, or operational requirements. The event will proceed rain or shine with ground exhibits and entertainment, even if the flying program is adjusted.
· No Refunds for Schedule Changes: Tickets are sold for the event experience, not for specific performances. No refunds or compensation will be offered due to reduced flying content, schedule changes, or specific aircraft cancellations, as long as the overall event is still held. The Organisers will make efforts to communicate major changes, but attendees should understand that flexibility is necessary with airshow schedules.
· Special Experiences: Premium ticket perks (such as access to pilots in the Mustang Lounge or close-up aircraft viewing in Fighter Row) are not guaranteed. While the Organisers strive to provide advertised experiences, interaction with pilots or special guests depends on their availability and operational constraints. There is no entitlement to any specific meet-and-greet or autograph session, and no refund will be due if such opportunities are limited or unavailable.
· Drone Prohibition: For the safety of aircraft and attendees, the use of drones or any Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) is strictly prohibited anywhere in or around the airshow grounds. Do not bring drones to the event. Any drone activity will result in immediate ejection from the venue and possible confiscation of the drone, and may be reported to the authorities. This ban includes toy drones and any airborne devices; it is a critical safety rule.
· Security Screening: Bag searches and security checks will be in operation at all entry points. Searching is a condition of entry – by attending, you agree that you and your belongings may be searched. The Organisers and security personnel reserve the right to confiscate any item deemed to be a weapon, used as a weapon, or otherwise dangerous or prohibited. This includes (but is not limited to) firearms or replicas, knives or sharp objects, explosives or fireworks, illegal substances, laser pointers, bulky items like ladders or step-stools, and any other object that could pose a risk or nuisance.
· Prohibited Items: In addition to the above, the following items are banned on the event site: illegal drugs or substances, any form of weapon or replica weapon, drones (as stated), laser pens, balloons, bicycles, scooters (except mobility aids), pets or animals (except certified guide dogs or assistance animals), and any item that the Organisers deem could interfere with safety or enjoyment. If you are unsure about an item, please contact the Organisers in advance.
· Conduct and Ejection: The Organisers have a zero-tolerance policy toward unruly or unsafe behavior. Any person who is deemed to pose a security risk, cause nuisance or annoyance to others, uses abusive language, fails to follow rules, or engages in illegal activities will be removed from the site without refund. Illegal items or illegal activities will result in involvement of the police. All attendees are required to adhere to instructions from event staff, security personnel, and emergency services at all times. Failure to comply with official directions or safety announcements is grounds for ejection.
· Public Access Areas Only: Attendees must stay within designated public areas of the airshow. No airside or restricted area access is permitted for general ticket holders. Entering cordoned-off areas, crossing safety barriers, or touching aircraft without authorization is strictly forbidden. Violators will be removed from the event. These rules are in place for your safety around operational airfield environments.
· Children and Supervision: Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times. Do not allow children to wander unattended, especially near flight line barriers or aircraft exhibits. For everyone’s safety, please keep a close watch on minors during loud displays or crowded moments.
· No Pets: As noted, pets are not allowed on the airshow grounds (with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs for guests with disabilities). This policy is both for animal safety and public safety. Please make arrangements to leave your pets at home, as the event cannot accommodate them.
· Compliance with Laws: All attendees must comply with UK laws and regulations, including Civil Aviation Authority safety rules, while on the premises. Any act that violates local or national law (such as assault, use of illegal drugs, trespassing into restricted zones, or endangering aircraft) will result in immediate removal and possible legal action. The entire airshow site is subject to applicable health and safety regulations, and attendees are expected to behave responsibly for the well-being of themselves and others.
· Attendance at Own Risk: Entry to the Airshow is voluntary, and attendees assume all risk associated with attending a live air display event. The Organisers (AMP Limited and Shenley Farms Limited) will not be liable for loss or damage to personal property of attendees, whether due to theft, misplacement, or accident. Please safeguard your belongings; consider using any on-site lockers or left-luggage facilities if provided.
· Personal Injury: The Organisers are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or accidents that occur during the event, except where caused by the Organisers’ negligence or breach of legal duty. Spectators should be aware that there are inherent risks at an airshow (e.g., loud noises, low-flying aircraft, pyrotechnics or bright displays). By attending, you acknowledge these risks. It is recommended that you bring and use hearing protection, especially for young children, and take appropriate caution for your own safety. If at any time you feel unwell or unsafe, please alert a staff member immediately.
· Noise and Sensory Effects: Be advised that this event includes extremely loud aircraft noise, sudden engine sounds, and potentially other special effects. Attending the show is at your own risk with respect to these conditions. The Organisers are not liable for any discomfort or health issues (such as hearing damage or medical incidents) that may be triggered by loud noises or visual effects, given that these are an integral part of the event. We strongly recommend pregnant individuals, those with sensitive hearing, and anyone prone to sensory overload to take precautions or consult a medical professional if concerned.
· Parking & Vehicles: Parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk. The Organisers accept no liability for any damage to, or loss from, vehicles parked at or near the event. This includes but is not limited to theft, collision, weather-related damage, or mud/ground conditions affecting your vehicle. Follow the parking attendants’ instructions at all times to minimize risk. (See the Parking Information section for more details on parking arrangements.)
· Limited Liability for Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the Organisers cancel the airshow (e.g. due to extreme weather or directives from authorities), the liability of the Organisers is limited to the refund of the ticket price paid. The Organisers are not responsible for any additional costs or consequential losses incurred by ticket holders such as travel expenses, accommodation, or other arrangements. Attendees are advised to consider travel insurance if concerned about this risk. If a cancellation occurs, the Organisers will communicate through official channels regarding rescheduling or refund procedures.
· Personal Use Photography: Photography and video recording for personal, non-commercial use is welcome. Attendees are encouraged to capture the memories! However, any commercial or media use of photographs/video requires prior written permission from the Organisers. Live streaming of the event or uploading footage for commercial purposes (for example, to monetized channels) is not allowed without approval. Tripods, large camera equipment, or selfie sticks must not impede others’ view or safety. The use of drones for photography is prohibited (as per the drone ban above).
· Consent to be Filmed: By entering the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Organisers or authorized third parties (such as news media or production crews). The condition of entry grants the Organisers the right to use and publish any such imagery or recordings of attendees for promotional, marketing, or news purposes in any media, without payment or compensation. This may include live broadcast of the event and future advertising. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please be aware that it is not feasible to avoid all cameras in a crowd of this size. Your attendance serves as acceptance of this condition. (Our full privacy policy is available upon request.)
Children & Accessibility
· Minors: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children should remain under supervision at all times, both for their safety and the enjoyment of others. Unaccompanied minors may be refused entry or asked to leave until a guardian is present. The Organisers and staff are not responsible for childcare or supervising separated children. If you become separated from your child, alert the nearest staff member immediately for assistance.
· Carer Tickets: The Airshow is committed to being accessible. Visitors with disabilities who require assistance may bring a personal carer/assistant. A Carer Ticket is available at the same price as a child ticket (concessional rate) for one carer per disabled attendee. The carer must enter with and accompany the person they are assisting throughout the event. Please bring proof of disability (e.g., a blue badge, relevant documentation) if requested at the gate. Note that carer tickets are only valid when used alongside a standard adult or concession ticket for the person being assisted.
· Accessibility Accommodations: The event takes place on an open grass airfield. While this can mean uneven ground, the Organisers have made efforts to accommodate those with limited mobility. There will be accessible toilets on site and a designated accessible viewing area with good sightlines to the flying display for wheelchair users or others who need it. However, no wheelchair or mobility scooter hire is available on site, so visitors should bring any required mobility equipment with them. We are continually striving to improve accessibility and welcome feedback to make the show as inclusive as possible.
