HIA 26 Official Poster Released

10 Nov 2025

We are pleased to reveal the official poster for the Headcorn International Airshow 2026, taking place 27–28 June 2026 at Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent.

The artwork features two of the most recognisable aircraft currently flying on the UK display circuit, both based at the Heritage Hangar at Biggin Hill:

  • North American P-51D Mustang “Moonbeam McSwine”

  • Supermarine Spitfire TA805, Mk9 “The Spirit of Kent”
(operated by Flyaspitfire.com / Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar)

These aircraft represent a direct living link to the pilots, engineering, and airfields that shaped British aviation history. Their presence at the 2026 show reflects our commitment to celebrating authentic wartime heritage alongside modern aviation.

The poster also highlights the modern air display element, showcasing the energy and spectacle that the airshow is known for, with the red, white, and blue smoke trails capturing the excitement of flight and display performance.
